About Multimedia Southwest
Our History
Broadcast Operations
- Founded in 1988, in Lubbock, Texas by long time media professionals, Multimedia Southwest in association with ZGS Broadcasting out of Washington DC began by launching, operating then fully acquiring Channel Univision CH 51 under a management agreement in Lubbock, Texas. Soon after, KLFB AM radio station was added to our operations.
- From 2017 to 2021 KJJT FM radio was acquired in Lamesa. Texas under a leased purchase agreement.
- In 2024 KPET AM, in operation for 74 years was added to operations under a advertising sales agreement.
- We continue to work with broadcasters with brokerages, lease management agreements, and digital marketing assistance.
Radio & Television Production
- MultiMedia Southwest continues to offer high-quality television and radio production.
Digital Marketing
- In 2010 Multimedia began offering Digital marketing services to businesses with website design, business apps, SMS for mobile device marketing, search engine optimization, social media reputation management, podcasts, OTT, YouTube and other digital means to promote and sell products and services.
Today, MultiMedia Southwest Communications is still led by founding partner JL Rodriguez, a West Texas native, entrepreneur, and proud Texas Tech graduate that believes in the integrity of a West Texas handshake
